Our Mission

FC Battersea Ironsides is a grassroots football club dedicated to developing football skills for youth and adults alike. Based at Battersea Ironsides Sports Club, we are part of a thriving multisport site that also offers youth and adult cricket and rugby, with grass pitches, a clubhouse, and a 3G all-weather floodlit training pitch.

Our mission is to nurture football talent in a positive, inclusive environment. We pride ourselves on our UEFA-qualified coaches who are committed to player development, and we invite you to join a community that celebrates the true spirit of football.

Bursuries 

We are committed to making football accessible to everyone in our community. Our club can offer bursaries on a case-by-case basis in the form of reduced fees for our Saturday morning coaching sessions (ages 6–11) and across our youth boys and mens teams.

These reductions are not means tested, any family can apply for a discounted fee, and all applications are handled in confidence. Our aim is to remove financial barriers, welcome players from all backgrounds, and ensure local children have access to the highest  quality coaching and development opportunities.
